The cave has been formed for 180 million years and is now increasingly mysterious under the light, making it a popular tourist destination. Go to the Longji Terraced Fields and enjoy the pleasure of a rural vacation, witness the rice field landscape, and showcase it like a scroll at the foot of the mountain. Understand local ethnic minorities, including Zhuang and Yao, and familiarize yourself with their traditional clothing, architecture, and customs. Taking a boat winding down the Li River, one can get a close-up view of the karst limestone landscape and capture the beautiful scenery along the way with a camera. Enjoy the time of Yangshuo Town to the fullest and find a peaceful paradise in the bustling cities of China.

Daily itinerary

Day 1: Arrive at Guilin - airport/train station to pick up passengers and check into a hotel

When your tour guide greets you at the airport luggage carousel or at the train station exit, you will feel the warm welcome of Guilin. Subsequently, you will arrive at the exquisite hotel located in the center of Guilin, a city renowned for its magnificent natural scenery, on a delightful driving journey. As an authentic local, your tour guide will introduce you to the brief history of this city and showcase many scenic spots along the way. After completing your check-in procedures, you can freely arrange the remaining time to stroll and enjoy the surrounding area of the hotel, or relax in the hotel and enjoy rare and comfortable time.

Day 2: Guilin Longsheng Guilin

Enjoy hotel breakfast and then head with the tour guide to the first destination of the day - Ludiyan. For centuries, locals have been visiting here, and you will follow their footsteps through small paths and unusual stalactite structures formed over 180 million years. The locals, known as the "Palace of Natural Art," attempted to use artistic lighting to highlight the many bizarre and curious shapes formed by stalactites.

Starting from here, you will have the opportunity to learn about the local countryside and culture, and then drive to the Longji Terraced Fields in Longsheng to enjoy a true rural vacation. Famous, beautiful, and practical, terraced fields will amaze you, and the size of such a large-scale rice field is enough to make you amazed. These rice paddies were built to fully utilize the scarce arable land and water resources in mountainous areas, serving several generations of local people. Climbing up the terraced fields, you can enjoy the stunning scenery of the rice paddies and surrounding areas. Another important highlight of the region is the minority culture of the Zhuang and Yao ethnic groups who work on terraced fields. You will have the opportunity to learn about the unique and colorful clothing, architecture, customs, and celebrations of each ethnic minority.

Day 3: Guilin Yangshuo

Check out of the hotel this morning and prepare to depart from Mopanshan Pier for a relaxing half day river tour. The Li River has inspired poets, philosophers, scholars, and farmers with its extraordinary karst landscape. Walking through these unique limestone formations, people will recall the scenes of China from the past era. When you take a boat to Yangshuo, you will have ample opportunities to take photos.

After arriving in Yangshuo, you will enjoy the slow pace and rural atmosphere of this rural town. Enjoy a free night and perhaps take the opportunity to stroll through West Street, which is said to be the oldest street in Yangshuo. Here, you can dine with locals, and if you're curious enough, you can also taste their favorite beer fish!

The fourth day: Yangshuo Guilin
