Day 1: Arrive at Kashgar - airport/train station to pick up passengers and check into a hotel

Today is your first day of travel. Welcome to Kashgar! After arrival, we will take you to the hotel to check in. After a short break, you can freely explore the city or stay at the hotel directly.

Meal included: None

Day 2: Kashgar to Tashkurgan

After enjoying breakfast, we will head to Tashkurgan County. Driving on the famous Karakoram Highway is truly enjoyable! The magnificent scenery along the way will always fill your eyes. It is one of the most important highways in China because it directly connects Pakistan and China. After driving for about 3 hours, you will encounter Baisha Lake, which is located on the right side of your window. Get off the car and rest there. The gentle waves on the lake surface sparkle in the sunlight, and regardless of the weather, the lake always appears milky blue.

Enjoy lunch by Lake Karakuri. This lake is the highest mountain lake in the world. Unlike Baisha Lake, this lake changes its color according to the angle of sunlight. This is an ideal place to learn about the lifestyle of the Kyrgyz herdsmen, who have settled here and lived a nomadic life for over a thousand years. When you face Lake Karakuri, the famous Mount Mustag is right in front of you.

On the way to Tashkurgan, you will see countless stunning scenery. The dreamy milky blue and green stream by the roadside will accompany you until the end of today's journey!

Day 3: Tashkurgan to Kashgar

You must have had a beautiful dream last night! The morning on the Pamir Plateau is very beautiful, especially when the gentle sunshine falls on your face, it feels very comfortable. We will go directly to Shibao to visit the historical relics that have existed for over 2000 years. The suburbs of the city are protected by sturdy stone walls, hence the name of the city. There is currently no consensus on who built this city, but the designer's wisdom is fully reflected in the sturdy fortress. In front of the city is a grassland called the Golden Wetland. The grass on the wetland is always golden, which makes it completely different from other wetlands. There is a newly built road where you can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the stone castle and take great photos.

After the tour, take a car back to Kashgar to relive the sweetness of Karakuri Lake and Baisha Lake. Upon arrival, stay in a hotel and rest.

The fourth day: Kashi Urumqi

Today we will have a one-day tour in Kashgar. Go to the Etigar Mosque. It is located in the center of Kashgar and is also a landmark building of Kashgar. As the largest mosque in China, you will learn a lot about Islam and its development in China through the tour guide's explanation. Then just cross the road and walk for a while, and we will reach the old city of Kashgar. We should arrive there before 10:30 to attend the interesting opening ceremony. Appreciate the performances of Uyghur girls and boys, and you will feel the warmth and hospitality of the local people. At the intersection of the old city, there is an old tea house with a history of over 100 years. Have a cup of tea, enjoy Uyghur dance and songs, and Uyghur elders play traditional Uyghur instruments on the second floor. Listening to the local people's lively conversations, even if you don't know what they are talking about, you will suddenly reminisce about the past.

The afternoon is the busiest time for the Sunday market. Previously, there were two markets here, one selling daily necessities outside and the other trading livestock inside. Due to ongoing construction in the area, the market outside is temporarily closed, while the livestock market remains in its original state. People are still doing business with their ancestors thousands of years ago. You can have lunch at this interesting place, and grilled lamb and beef are also a good idea.

The last attraction we are going to visit today is Handicraft Street. There are many amazing shops and shops on the street. Buy some souvenirs for your friends and family there, search for local specialties such as shoes, musical instruments, or decorations, and you will spend a leisurely afternoon in this bustling place!

Later that day, we will take you to the airport and take a flight to Urumqi according to your itinerary. After arrival, rest at the hotel.

We will transfer to the scenic bus and you will be amazed by the dense forests and magnificent mountains along the way. Find a place to sit down and feel the gentle breeze under the blue sky.

Later, drive back to the center of Urumqi and visit the famous International Grand Bazaar. It is the world's largest bazaar, built in 2003. Unlike the Kashgar Sunday Grand Bazaar, this Grand Bazaar is more exquisite, structurally reasonable, and has a more international style in appearance. The dazzling variety of products in various stores and shops will dazzle you. Da Baza has a large square where hundreds of local Uyghur girls and boys, as well as travelers from all over the world, gather to sing and dance together. Immerse yourself in music and dance!
