Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation and Refund Policy forms part of our Terms and Conditions. By paying your deposit, you confirm that you have fully read and accepted this policy. All cancellations must be submitted in writing to reservations@nihaohuaxia.com. The cancellation date is determined by the date we receive your written notice.
Deposit requirement
A deposit of 20%–50% of the total tour price is required to confirm your booking. The exact deposit amount will be stated in your booking confirmation.
For bookings made within 30 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.
The deposit is non-refundable except in the circumstances outlined in the "Visa Refusal" section below.
Cancellation by the client
If you need to cancel your booking, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Refunds are calculated from the date written notice is received, as follows:

30 days or more Full refund of balance (deposit non-refundable)
15 – 29 days 70% refund of balance paid
8 – 14 days 50% refund of balance paid
0 – 7 days / No show No refund
Note: This policy does not apply to groups of 10 or more travelers, or to penalties imposed by airlines, hotels, cruises, railways, or other third-party service providers. Any such third-party fees will be clearly itemized and passed on at cost.
Cancellation due to visa refusal
You are entitled to a full refund of the tour price (including your deposit) in the following circumstances:
Your Chinese visa application is rejected by the relevant authorities, and you notify us 30 days or more before departure.
Your Tibet Travel Permit application is rejected by the Tibet local government.
Please note: Any cancellation or change fees charged by airlines or railway operators remain the client's responsibility and will be deducted from the refund.
Cancellation or material changes by nihaohuaxia.com
We reserve the right to make reasonable adjustments to itineraries due to weather, traffic, temporary closures, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control.
A "material change" is defined as the cancellation or substitution of core activities affecting one-fifth or more of the original itinerary's total duration, or consecutive changes that materially impact the overall travel experience.
If a material change occurs, we will notify you as soon as possible and offer feasible alternatives. If you do not accept the alternative and no agreement can be reached, you have the right to cancel and receive:
A full refund of all unused tour fees, minus any actual non-refundable third-party costs (e.g. air tickets, prepaid hotels).
A full refund of any prepaid tickets, show tickets, or activity reservations that cannot be used due to the change.
Refund processing
Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days via the original payment method.
For wire transfer refunds, any bank charges or currency conversion costs incurred during the return transfer are the client's responsibility.
For PayPal refunds, the 5% transaction fee originally charged is non-refundable.
